Utah Business Magazine awards TA “2020 Best Companies to Work For

back to insights

Our employees love working here at TA. We see it every day in the smiles, virtual high-fives and each person’s growth towards a better life. We’re so happy to announce that for the second year in a row, TA was selected for Utah Business Magazine’s Best Companies to Work For award. The 2020 criteria and questions touched on every aspect of work life, including: benefits, fairness and opportunities, pay, corporate culture, employee pride and internal communications.

Many companies apply each year and only a select group of employers make the list. It is rare for an advertising agency to receive the award, truly a sign of TA’s uniqueness in the field.

Why TA? Founder Dave Thomas says it best, with his unmistakable exuberance: “We show up every day wherever we are, with an undiminished hope in a wonderful future.” Even when things are complicated, like shutting down the office for several months to address COVID concerns, employees noted that TA made the best of a tricky situation and, when the office reopened, with one employee commenting, “They even made all bathrooms in our building touchless!”

We are proud to have built a company culture that values each person — and their loved ones — by recognizing that every single one of us has the potential to grow through curiosity and hard work. One employee says, “There are lots of places for collaboration and empathy throughout the teams that make for a safe space to experiment and test without fear of failure.”

Our company culture is what makes every day of working at TA rewarding. And our benefits get rave reviews, too. Employees can’t stop themselves from listing out everything they love, no matter how long it gets: “Maternity benefits are the best I’ve seen! Love the free lunches, the snacks […] the COVID survival gifts, the anniversary gifts. . . the list is too long to state.”

At the end of the workday, it comes down to each and every one of our amazing staff. In this time of change and uncertainty, Dave knows that when you have a strong vision and purpose, “hunkering down and hitting the brakes is exactly the wrong plan.”

If this sounds like the type of place you want to work, we’re always looking for people to add to our team. Check out current opportunities here
