Awkward: You buy this baloney?

Good: Look at this interesting perspective about that thing you really care about.

The secret, we’ve discovered, is not just telling a story—but knowing which story to tell.

It all starts with reframing your perspective. Finding a new way to look at the same thing everyone else sees. An unexplored angle. An unexpected twist. A quick left turn after the usual right. And when you can do that, when you can provide a different, unfamiliar viewpoint on something, the odds of the audience paying attention to what you’re saying is good. Ridiculously good.

You want to know why? Because consumers are just like us. Actually, all people on earth are just like us. We all want to learn something we don’t already know. Feast our eyes on something we’ve never seen. Hear something that tickles our ears.

Basically, we all want in on something new.

Do that, and you have a real chance at turning a few heads.
